Hemostat

Description

I use these all the time when sewing. Pull the thread tight and clamp it off with a hemostat. It will hold you stitching tight and you can continue stitching or stop for the day. I recommend having at least two when sewing.

These are especially nice when sewing the skin on tight. You pull the fabric together, tie if off, stitch another section and clamp it with a second hemostate and then remove the once behind it.

Use them the same way when doing the rolling stitch to finish the deck seam.
