Ravenswood LV (low volume) is basically a smaller version of the Ravenswood. We have found that smaller paddlers do not sink the boats hull enough and it will not track well and it can be a struggle to keep the boat going in a straight line. Tthe Ravenswood was a perfect candidate so we ‘shrank’ it.
It will handle paddlers up to 225 lbs. but you will have little freeboard. But if you prefer narrower, less stable boats this boat is an option for you.
The stability is much lower than most of my boats. However, I have found that the lighter the paddler the more stable the boat feels to them. So if you are a lightweight the stability factor number may be a bit misleading.
All photos are of a full sized Ravenswood. The LV model will looks the very similar, the main difference is that it is narrower.
