Correction and Revisions
I found out writing a book is a HUGE undertaking. Before I was anywhere near finished I knew that it was very likely there would be some mistakes in the book. So I set up this page where we could tell you of any mistakes.
KEEP IN MIND that we print the book in smaller quantities so updates are made fairly quickly. The following list may have been corrected in your copy of the book.
FUSELAGE FRAME BOATS
CURLEW BOW OFFSETS
In the Curlew Bow Offsets there is a missing coordinate. Please add in 3, 1.17, 0.
POCO BARTA BRACKETS
Bracket for frame #1, the 4 7/16″ dimension should be 5 7/16″
POCO BARTA FRAME 5′ 6″ METRIC CHART ONLY
The wrong numbers were printed for this frame ONLY.
STONE FLY OFFSETS
The offsets chart has a formatting error. The X dimensions are in Feet while all the other offsets are in inches. I have listed the dimension that appears in the chart and beside it in parentheses is the foot and inch equivalent.
4=(4’0″)
5-12/16 = (5’9″)
6-12/16 =(6’9″)
8-4/16 =(8’4″)
10-4/16 =(10’3″)
12-4/16 =(12’3″)
MORE FUSELAGE FRAME BOATS
TADPOLE FRAME #1
Frame #1, the 3/32″ dimension should be 1 11/32″
Frame #1 METRIC the 0.2 dimension should be 3.4
Frame #1, the 2 3/32″ dimension should be 2 27/32″
Frame 30.5 METRIC, the 5.9 dimension should be 7.2
TADPOLE COAMING OFFSETS
Coaming offset Feet and inches chart only
The Z 13 1/32″ dimension should be 6 6/32″
MATILDA METRIC OFFSETS ONLY
The frame were labeled wrong in the first row. They should have been named 1’6″, 3’10” and 7′ 0″ instead of 2’0″, 4’6″ and 7’0″. The X dimensions were correct.
Under frame 1’6″ the Y=0.0. X=0.0 dimension should be Y=23.15, X=26.19
